Chris K
Chris was born and bred in the small market town of South Molton, North Devon, UK. His passion for rugby began at the Royal Masonic School for Boys in Bushy, Hertfordshire as a young teen and continued for 25 years with the local club of South Molton. Such was his passion for rugby, Chris spent his last day in England playing club rugby before boarding the plane!
Chris immigrated to New Zealand over 25 years ago and on arrival, he joined the local Tramping Club in Masterton. There, his involvement in Search & Rescue began and he was a member for 12 years. As a Carpenter and Joiner, Chris has spent almost all his life in the Construction Industry. Chris’s father was a proud Freemason who passed away when Chris was in his youth. Chris followed his father’s footsteps becoming a Freemason and is still very much involved today.
Chris is a proud grandfather and looks forward to continuing to enjoy his grandchildren’s company. Perhaps even passing on his love of rugby to his grandson, Findlay.
